This is a double distilled tequila from blue agave, with a clear transparent color. The strong aromatic combination of white pepper, fresh citrus, agave and flowers makes its taste stand out and excel among other tequilas. Tequila Sauza was named after Don Conebio Sauza, who founded his distillery in Tequila, Mexico, in 1873. Don Conebio Sauza was the first to give the local drink mescal or vinotequila the name tequila, from name of the region of its production and the first to export tequila to the USA. Today, Sauza is the No. 1 tequila in Mexico.
