The King Car distillery is the first to do the impossible, creating whiskey in Taiwan. Kavalan is the name of the tribe that lived in the area, expressing the authenticity of their new venture. With extensive experience in food and beverage production and faith in Scottish whiskey art, it was in 2008 that the first bottle was produced.

The special climate of the region "helps" the whiskey to mature faster in the barrel than Scotland. A malt whiskey, elegant and round with pleasant aromas of ripe citrus fruits and nuts, silky texture and cool aftertaste.
