The 16-year-old Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey is aged for 16 years in combination with Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon barrels, and matures for several months in wine barrels. The unique ripening process gives this unique malt the distinct notes of juicy fruits, nuts and spices, as well as a hint of ruby redness. Like all Bushmills whiskeys it's very smooth, but it has a sweeter, more fruity aftertaste.
