In 2014, it was first released in the Japanese market. Now, connoisseurs find it in the good Greek cellars. We owe this temperament to Colin Scott, the fifth in a row Master Blender of Chivas Regal, who after 47 years in the field of whiskey has now handed over the reins to Sandy Hyslop. On a trip to Japan, Colin Scott was fascinated by the barrels used there for the -very serious- Japanese whiskey in general. Thus was born the idea for a special edition of Chivas with a Japanese "sword" in the oyster.

Chivas Regal Mizunara is a blend of the richest and most refined single malt and grain whiskeys, selectively aged in Mizunara oak barrels.
